- The Proceeding Volumes have been sent for printing.
- The Proceedings comprise a two-part Supplement to Volume 112 (the 2018 volume) of Mineralogy and Petrology.
- All fully registered delegates will receive one hard cover copy of each of the two volumes.
- As a result of a printing error, you may have already or will soon receive one soft cover copy of Volume 1. Consider this softbound volume as a gift from Springer.

- The manuscript review process is complete
- A total of 55 papers totaling about 740 pages have been accepted
- The papers will be published as a two-part Supplement to Volume 112 (the 2018 volume) of the well known international journal Mineralogy and Petrology

Announcing : The Journal of International Kimberlite Conference Extended Abstracts
The scarcity of copies of extended abstract volumes from historical International Kimberlite Conferences will soon create a serious problem in the community's ability to continue to access and accurately cite some of the valuable material in these abstracts, that may have never been published in accessible and citable scientific journals. To address this problem the International Kimberlite Conference Advisory Committee sanctioned the University of Alberta Library to create a new on-line, Open Access journal: The Journal of International Kimberlite Conference Extended Abstracts: http://ikcabstracts.com
Extended abstracts (currently up to 6 IKC are available) are available as downloadable Pdf documents of whole volumes or single abstracts. In due course the journal will include all IKCs and each abstract will be assigned its own DOI to enable fully traceable citation.

Onsite hotels - 11 IKC preferential rates EXTENDED- Rooms are still available in both onsite hotels, however, after 31 July 2017 the 11 IKC Room Block has been released and all bookings are on a first come first serve basis. Email 11IKC Secretariat to check the availability.

Updated Poster Size - Each poster board is 1.95m wide and 0.95m vertical and thus the posters need to be landscape orientation.
Upgraded Oral "Projection" System - this will now consist of a single active LED screen that is 6 meters wide and 4 meters high. This screen ratio is suitable for the new 16:9 widescreen format in PowerPoint. Slides in the classical 4:3 format will, however, fit equally well.
Meet and Greet - 11 IKC intends on providing a meet and greet service at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, including bus transfer to the Walmont and Metcourt Hotels, on Saturday 9 September, Saturday 16 September and Sunday 17 September 2017. Please look for the the 11 IKC signage.
